During the tour, you walk among ruins that hold memories of one of the country's most significant periods. We visit historical temples and learn how  Ayutthaya became a symbol of resistance and spirituality . Each stop reveals traces of Thai faith and legacy.

More than just a tour, this is an immersion into the past that still echoes through the streets and monuments. Ideal for those who appreciate architecture, spirituality, and places full of meaning. With local guides who speak Portuguese, you'll access details and curiosities known only to those who live here.

This tour takes place every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Our complete experience on the Ayutthaya Tour in Portuguese.

Founded in 1350,  Ayutthaya was the second capital of the Kingdom of Siam  and stood out for centuries as a center of political power, international trade, and diplomacy. Between the  14th and 18th centuries , it became one of the most developed cities in the world, with advanced urban planning, monumental temples, and a sophisticated hydraulic system.

In 1767, the city was invaded and destroyed by the Burmese army. Since then, it has become an important archaeological site. The preserved ruins include  prangs (relic towers), Buddhist monasteries, sculptures, and structures  that reveal the size and grandeur of the ancient capital.

Ayutthaya is located in the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province, about 80 km from Bangkok, and  occupies a protected area of 289 hectares, recognized as a  World Heritage Site by UNESCO . Visiting Ayutthaya is like walking through a city that, even in ruins, still impresses with the strength of its history and architectural beauty.

Wat Mahathat
Considered the  spiritual heart of Ayutthaya , it is famous for housing the  image of Buddha's head  nestled among the roots of a tree. The temple impresses with its rich history and the ruins that showcase the grandeur of the ancient city.

Wat Yai Chai Mongkol
One of the best-preserved temples in Ayutthaya, with an immense central stupa surrounded by  statues of Buddha in meditation . The towers and courtyard convey the grandeur of the local architecture.

Wat Lokkayasutharam
Home to one of the largest  reclining Buddhas in Thailand, measuring 37 meters long and 8 meters high . A place for contemplation and also one of the most photographed by tourists. This statue was one of the inspirations for one of the scenarios in the  Street Fighter video game , created for the player  Sagat , known in the game as the Emperor of Muay Thai , a Thai martial art.

Wat Chai Watthanaram
A temple built between 1630 and 1650,  inspired by Khmer architecture. Its towers resemble the famous temples of Angkor Wat, and its ruins are among the most impressive in Ayutthaya.
